SAIC Motor recently announced that its latest model, the MG-GS is expected be on the market by the end of February.
The upgraded model will expand its range of manual models this year, since it currently has only two manual editions for the 1.5T and 6MT. Some improvements will also be made on the configurations.

The new model’s automatic-transmission versions will also provide more customization options for customers, together with an 8-inch LCD screen, rearview camera and display system, all coming as a standard.
The company’s 2.0TGI turbocharged engine and TST 6-speed Wet Dual-Clutch Transmission will yield a maximum output of 162kW (220PS) and peak torque of 350 Nm; while its 1.5T version is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed DCT, giving it a total output of 124kW (169PS) with a peak torque of 250 Nm.
